The foundation of Northern Credit Union was built upon doing good work for our members and in our communities. This year, we are aiming to do something amazing for the people we live and work with. We hope to achieve this through our 2013 “Do Something Amazing in your Community” Calendar Contest.
This year we would like to encourage the students in our communities to do something amazing, tell us about it, and depict it in a painting or drawing. Our children can achieve great things through small acts of kindness, and simply holding a door for someone or donating spare change to a charity, can make a huge contribution to life in our communities.
How To Enter
Using the instructions below, submit your drawing (younger children or students may need some help). We’ll post all the entries on this web site on October 17th. Your voting will help us choose the artwork that will be featured in the 2013 “Do Something Amazing in your Community” Calendar.
There are two categories:
- Elementary School (Grades 2-8)
- Secondary School (Grades 9-12)
The drawings should fit on an 11” wide x 8.5” high (landscape orientation) piece of blank white paper (or the paper you use in a home printer).
